This was taken from an unpublished study which provided the rationale for a chloroquine trial currently underway for GBM.<br /><br />This retrospective study included patients from the published Mexico clinical trials (chloroquine in addition to radiation and BCNU chemotherapy), in which newly diagnosed GBM patients were give 150 mg chloroquine (equivalent to 250 mg chloroquine phosphate) daily. The schedule in this trial was as follows:<br /><br />"Chloroquine was administered at 150 mg/d, starting<br />on day 5 after surgery, and was continued for 12 months"<br /><br />As chloroquine phosphate comes in doses of 250, this was likely given on a once daily schedule (250 mg chloroquine phosphate once daily = 150 chloroquine once daily).Stephen Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00777652648990108253noreply@blogger.com
