hello,
My husband, Corneliu was hospitalized because a severe enterocolitis and he didn't took any pill for a week. He was on
third day of tmz. also, remained 2 days whitout treatment.
I am very concerned about this situation, analyzes of hospital show the erythrocyte sedimentation rate is high 30.
He started yesterday the cocktail pills again, hope he will be all right.
I don't know what to do with the remaining TMZ pills, i think i could give him every day , during 8 days?!
Melinda.
Was any testing done to determine the cause of the enterocolitis?
ReplyDeleteWhat does the oncologist say to do with the TMZ pills? This is where a doctor's opinion could be very useful. Enterocolitis is outside of my realm of experience.
I hope he gets better soon.
Stephen
The cause of enterocolitis was a fish ate it seems like it was not fresh, my husband felt very bad and belly ached, and often went to the bathroom, water flowed from it. I called the ambulance and I went to the hospital for infectious diseases. There we were told we were not in that first ate fish or pizza shop, have people come to them with the same symptoms.
DeleteThe hospital gave him antibiotics and infusions, but I could not give daily treatment of cocktails. I will call the oncologist to ask what to do with remained TMZ.
Many thanks for the reply and advice given. And yes Cornel is feeling better , started the cocktail from wednesday.
Melinda
Hello Stephen,
ReplyDeleteOur oncologist said to start the next month TMZ with 2 days earlier, so if we started on a monday 7 September, next month we will start on 3'th October, saturday. My husband is feeling well , but we have to convince us with an MRI . I told you that our oncologist is a very good lady, but about her professionalism can not say anything good. I tell her things that was found in the world and she approve me and tells me that I do well what doing. So our only inspiration is from you and from this Blog, thank you all for this.

Hi Melinda, how is ur husband´s health?
ReplyDeleteThank you, for asking
DeleteMy husband is feeling very well,
I mean is a normal person, he is driving, he can do anything we all doing.
he remained deficient at left peripheral vision. so I am driving most of time , and he is driving with copilot (me)). we are thinking how long we has to give him pils, he has almost two year ( in January 2017), and I am thinking how can I get sure he is healed? what analysis he should make?
I am thinking right now He should do : thymidine kinase and TPA .
the Oncologist didn't get him to make any of this . I asked Ben Williams advice, and he told me to continue with medicine as long as we can.
thank you,
Melinda
