Stephen, are you familiar with the young man from Canada who is a long term survivor of GBM?
Apparently he took Phosphatidylserine but he is not intimating that is the reason for his survival. Interesting website.
Do you have any thoughts on Phosphatidylserine?

ReplyDeleteKeep in mind this person's tumor had the IDH1 mutation, so he had a better prognosis from the beginning.
I donn't mean to imply nothing he did beyond conventional treatments made a difference, just that the IDH1 mutation (and probably MGMT methylation) could partially explain his good response to therapy.
ReplyDeleteI occasionally see these success stories. My wife died 3 mos ago from a GBM grade Iv IDH wild type , unmethalated 14.5 mos after diagnosis. Long hard road filled with hope. I continue to hope there are segments of those stricken that find more than we did. Keep up the fight and good work Stephen!
