Did both the oncologist and general practioner/family doctor refuse to prescribe it, after presenting the evidence? I imagine this would be difficult to get hold of without a prescription.
You'd have to make a very good case for it and present all the available evidence before any doctor would prescribe it, if they weren't already familiar with the evidence.
