Social Security Diablity Insurance

Does anyone have any advice, stories, tips and tricks with regard to applying for and receiving SSDI?  Thanks in advance.

  1. With a diagnosis of glioblastoma, SSDI was approved immediately. We even received $$ six months retroactive from time of diagnosis. Your doctor/social worker should be able to help you with this process.

    2. We weren't even aware of SSDI until 6 months post diagnosis. After we applied, it was approved immediately with 6 months retroactive pay.

  2. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and i lived with that diagnosis for more than 3 years, spending all I have and losing my self in the process, its what I wouldn't want to see any person go through, Luckily i had an encounter with Dr Jose, a renowned Italian doctor that helped me overcome my cancer in less than two and a half months, just with the use of herbal medicine and spiritual help, i can now boldly say I am cancer free and a proud living testimony,he is known to be able to tackle any type of cancer found in the human body, God forbids any one should suffer here on earth, thats why I believe he created all these herbs, if you also want to clear your doubts and fight cancer to the barest minimum, take the bull by the horn and avoid death, you can contact my Doctor, by his email joseherbals28@gmail.com

    1. Oh thats excellent. I've been looking for joseherbals28! I have an account from the Prince of Nigeria with a total of $US 1.2billion dollars that is to be transferred from the United Nations Economic Development Fund to Donald Trump. But I must use a US bank account to perform the transfer and so will Pay 10% profit to Jose for this. Please post your account information here to receive the funds!

    2. I usually delete the spam before it has time to garner comments. Your hilarious reply makes me glad I missed this one. Unfortunately angie_angie will probably never see it.

  3. While it might be a painful wait, if you get your info together and actually go in to an SSDI office they can probably be of great help. I had all kinds of hassles trying to get California state disability to properly handle my claims until I stopped bothering with the online process and actually went in to their office.

  4. You can call and get an appointment for an SSDI interview. There is a compassionate allowance program which speeds the process a lot. They will direct you to fill out an application on line. You can begin receiving benefits after a 5-month waiting period from disability onset (which means if you continued working after your diagnosis, you may be eligible for a large retro payment). You do not become eligible for Medicare however until 24 months after disability onset. Chance was receiving SSDI and was also eligible for CA state disability for one year (yes, I mean he was receiving both benefits simultaneously) which was a huge blessing when he was no longer able to work. Do not try to do anything with CA EDD by phone. Go to the closest office and take your medical records. I truly hope this helps.
