I'm excited to go to this:  http://www.seattlesciencefoundation.org/events-calendar/braintumor
Does anyone want to try and meet up before or after?

  1. I'm interested in meeting up after - that way we'll have more information to talk over.

  2. I'm planning to go to this as well. Let's meetup! Just had a meetup in San Francisco that went well.

  3. Nice! Maybe we should organize a meetup in Europe also :)

  4. I'm planning on going. Let's meetup. There're some good places nearby plus space inside the hospital itself (Starbucks, cafeteria, and other lounges). Parking rates at nearby places are much lower, assuming you can find a spot.

  5. I would like to join the group as well. Let's touch base when we get a little closer to the date.

  6. I registered on line for the Seattle Course, but didn't get any kind of confirmation back. Has anyone received something saying that they are registered? I would like to know that I am actually registered before I travel to Seattle and book accommodations.
Also if anyone is familiar with the area, do you have any hotel suggestions that are close to the science foundation?

  7. Yesterday I left a voice message asking if they could please let me know if I am registered, so I hope they will call back!
I will be going too, I was just trying to be sure ahead of time. I wonder if anyone else from BC will be going?
    See you there Stephen!

  8. Thanks Jaki,
As it turns out I won't be able to make it to the Seattle meeting. I'm not in the area at the moment and it would have been too far to travel. I hope members of this blog planning to attend will still be able to meet before or afterwards. Sorry I won't be able to attend as it would have been nice to meet some of you. Perhaps another time, when I return to the area.

  9. I'm going, and will also be at the morning session and evening: http://www.seattlesciencefoundation.org/events-calendar/2015/11/13/innovative-approaches-to-brain-tumor-management

Should we say Starbucks at the hospital, 8:00 PM? I don't mind parking - I'll be paying already. I'm happy to go someplace else too, just don't know of anything.

  10. Corey And I talked on the phone and figured that meeting up at the Starbucks on site after the event wraps up (8ish) would be easy. The Starbucks itself closes but the tables will be accessible. Hope to see all of you tomorrow!

Haven't been to Seattle before... is the Starbucks in the same building as the meeting (SSF)?
