Is anyone going to the UCLA conference next month? I'd like to go, but will likely be traveling by myself from Seattle. Has anyone been to it before? Find it worthwhile?
I am planning on attending and my NO said it was a good conference to attend. FYI, there are a couple of UCLA guest houses that you can stay at which are cheaper than surrounding hotels.
Thanks Marc! I called - looks like they have rooms for around $199. I ended up finding an Air BnB for around $110 per night that looks pretty nice. Looking forward to the conference!
Annie, are you going to the Innovative Approaches to Brain Tumor Management Education Course Seattle Science Foundation, Seattle WA March 18, 2016? Anyone else? Stephen I thought you said you were going to Seattle? I am going as well to this. Candy

Not sure yet if 'regular folk' can attend... I tried calling today and got nothing. I'll try again tomorrow. Would really like to attend this if possible....
Thanks Annie for the info. I checked it out and registration for that during the day is only for providers. Keep me posted on where everyone will meet for the night gathering on 3/18. It will be nice to meet everyone.
I d luv to go as when we met w dr Linda liau and dr Cloughsey they mentioned it and out of the brain cancer centers we went to (Dana Farber and Duke) I found them to b the most informative, open, honest and friendly. My sis went w dr Friedman at Duke as la is far from ct. Anyway, I d luv to go to this conference. I had the flier for it when was visiting but it's so far to go by myself and leave my little ones. So, if u guys could pass along what u learn it would b greatly appreciated!! Is anyone going from the northeast? Thanks!!

DeleteI'm also planning to attend. Try the UCLA Guest House: (310) 825-2923, they don't have many rooms, so best to reserve right away.

ReplyDeleteI just called - the all day conference for providers is open to anyone who wants to attend. She said to just register as a student. I may do that too.
