Any idea how to raise white blood counts?

Any ideas how to raise white blood counts or which drugs could be lowering it?
I am planning to start folate.

  1. Anna, we found every time we consistently used Viagra 50mg - 100mg daily that the white count would increase. We have since started using Fresh Aloe Vera gel, from a 5 year old plus plant and the white cell count has significantly and consistently increased. The last 4 blood tests (we get f/n tests) have all been excellent. BTW Rich drank fresh Aloe Vera along with honey and grappa daily.

  2. Linda Thank you. I do have a question to you. Some of the clinics in germany don't have experience with adding tetanus booster or imiquimod cream but the doctor said that he wouldn't mind if the patient added it himself. So I am thinking about getting those things in Poland and bringing with me in a bag. So I am wondering if it is very difficult to administer it by yourself before vaccines? What would be the procedure to follow etc.

  3. Hi Anna,
Basically you give a tetanus booster shot the same day as first vaccine and on the 4th vaccine you give the tetanus booster again but only a very small amount of it. The mini tetanus shot is given within 12 - 24 hours of the 4th vaccine. The vaccine needs to be injected at the same location as the mini tetanus injection is given. We drew a small circle around the mini tetanus injection site enabling the nurse to place the vaccine with accuracy. It's an intramuscular injection and u tube has plenty of demonstrations. if you want to give the tetanus shot your selfves. We did a 250mg Imiquimod sachet per day for 5 days. Two days before vaccine, on the day of the vaccine and 2 days after the vaccine. The vaccine is just rubbed into a small area and the vaccine is given within that area. We didn't use the imiquimod at the same time as the tetanus.
I have copied some imiquimod info for you. I have some info on Tetanus shots with the DC vaccines, when to administer etc but am unable to copy and paste and I don't think I can upload a file on this site but if you send me your email address i'll email the info to you.

Imiquimod in an FDA-approved cream that is an immune response modifier, which will be used off-label in this study. Imiquimod cream (5%, 250 mg) will be self-applied topically by patients to a 4 x 5-cm outlined area of healthy skin overnight on days 1-5 of each cycle. Application and removal times will be recorded in treatment diaries. Dendritic cells will be injected intradermally into the imiquimod-treated site on day 3. Cycles will be repeated every 2 weeks for a total of three injections. This study will examine the effectiveness of using Imiquimod with DC vaccines, as previous studies within the oncology department have studied the effectiveness of DC vaccines.
Imiquimod (Aldara, 3M) is one of the better characterized imidazoquinolines and is the only one currently approved for clinical use as a topical ointment. It has been demonstrated to possess antiviral and antitumor properties, and it is approved for the treatment of genital warts. Vaccination studies in animal models have indicated that imidazoquinolines can boost the magnitude and quality of T cell responses. It is considered a Toll-like receptor agonist which controls the activation of dendritic cells.
In humans, it was shown that topical imiquimod treatment may enhance the immunogenicity of a melanoma vaccine. Additionally, injection of immature DCs into imiquimod-pretreated skin lead to DC activation in situ and enhanced migratory capacity to draining lymph nodes in cancer patients. In this study, the investigators test the safety and feasibility of imiquimod in a vaccine against brain cancer to induce a more potent immune response that what has previously been observed.

  5. So we run into this problem. If we take tmz for 5 days then on the day when the next blood test is that determines if the doctor will give us tmz or not our white blood counts are up again because there was enough time to recover. We really wanted to make it metronomic but if we take tmz for more days our white blood cells had not enough time to recover and the doctor does not want to prescribe more tmz. There is no discussion with him he is like a machine givin prescriptions. So as much as we wanted the metronomic tmz we can't do it. Last time our white blood cells were too low and we had to repeat the blood test and once it bounced back up we got tmz.
Solution .. How to get tmz without prescription. There should be a lower wbc treshold for metronomic tmz I guess. We will try that aloe. Thank you Linda.

  6. Anna, last weekend my wife got a dosis of Filgrastim, wbc went from 2800 to 9900 next day. She was myelosupressed caused by PCV 2nd round, and they need to raise numbers before her surgery. Very impressive effects.

  7. My daughter's naturopath recommended Nucleo Immune to help raise her WBC and rubbing 1 drop of Sandalwood Essential Oil over her spleen area 3x per day to help her platelet counts.
