Swelling

What is the best thing to use for swelling/oedema? My dad uses now 16 mg dexamethasone a day, and is feeling fine when he uses it. But they want to temper down the dosage so they gave him a couple days a go half of the dosage a day: so 8 mg. He didn't go react well on it , so now they increased the dosage. But i know he can not take dexa for life becaus of side effects etc. so i am searching for the best brand of boswellia or other things
Any suggestions?

  1. I don't know anything about it .But heard the following: cellebrex, avastin, boswelia. In Europe chammomile tea is being used for all kinds of swelling. I know it is very effective for swelling on the eyes. It might not apply to brain tumors but it would not hurt to drink it. It is antiinflamatory.Unifontis clinic uses infusions of it I think.

  2. Boswellia - Just going on their reputation as the makers of Longvida curcumin, I'd be inclined to give Wokvel Boswellia a try (made by Verdure Sciences).

Longvida curcumin could be helpful too.

    Is he still taking Celebrex?

An angiotensin-II receptor blocker such as telmisartan could be of use.
